A Hard Day's Night

Rusty W. Spell -- The movie itself looks and sounds great (it's been updated to 5.1). I have to admit that most of the interviews (essentially all of the extras) aren't that interesting and I haven't even been able to sit through them all. But if you're buying this for the movie itself, you can't go wrong.

Hard Eight

Rusty W. Spell -- A great movie with a great DVD presentation. In addition to a director-approved transfer and a variety of trailers, the DVD also has a deleted scene, videotaped scenes from the movie (a sort of "rehearsal" done at the Sundance Institute--interesting to watch), and two commentaries. Both of the commentaries are wonderful. P.T. Anderson commentaries are as good as most people's movies, and Sydney himself (Philip Baker Hall) speaks as well.
